🏦 How Foreigners Can Register Their Refund Bank Account on HomeTax (2025)
If you're a foreign resident in Korea and expecting an income tax refund, you need to register your bank account on HomeTax to receive the money directly to your account.
🔍 Why Do I Need to Register?
- Without registration, the refund cannot be deposited automatically
- Unregistered refunds may be sent by mail (paper check)
- Only bank accounts under your name are accepted

- Alien Registration Number (외국인등록번호)
- Your own Korean bank account (under your name)
- HomeTax login access (ID or 인증서)

- Go to www.hometax.go.kr
- Log in using your ARC number and password (or simple authentication)
- Click "My HomeTax" (마이홈택스)
- Choose "Refund Account Management" (환급계좌 관리)
